Pumpkin Patches – U Pick Pumpkins at the Best Places in Lansing

Where Families Can Go Pumpkin Picking and Wander through Mazes and Pumpkin Patches in Lansing

Pumpkin picking is a right of passage into fall season every year in Michigan. It’s almost our way of telling ourselves, “it’s ok, the weather getting colder is fun, remember”?

I get a little blue every September when the warm weather tapers off and we wave – what my kids and I like to call – a good “Downton (Abby) Goodbye”. (Standing outside waving until the car is long in the distance and out of site).

But, the saving grace to my sadness is that it’s “Uncle John’s Season.” I love me some “Uncle John’s Cider Mill“. But, I know many of you love other places in the Greater Lansing Area as well. So, we thought it would be fun to make a full list of all of the great places to pick pumpkins or roam through mazes in our area.

Our Big List of Pumpkin Patch Picking Places in the Lansing Area

I’m really excited because – this pumpkin picking list is SWEET! I’ll be stepping out of my normal pumpkin picking routine and trying out Reese Farm this year. I grew up down the street from this farm and buy corn from Reese every year. It’s known to be the sweetest corn in Lansing. This year we will go to Reese Farm in the fall for pumpkins.

Where is your  family headed to pick pumpkins? If you have a place I haven’t listed that you know is great, let me know so we can add it to the list.
